What is a Portrait Party?
Portrait Parties are an exciting opportunity for you and your friends to have professional portraits done in a fun way. Portrait Parties take place in your home (if you are the host) or any other suitable location (parks, beaches, gardens, ect...). The host invites between 6 and 10 families to the party and the hosts enjoys credits toward portraits! It is a low stress fun opportunity to have beautiful portraits done of your family in a low pressure, relaxed atmosphere.
I used to bring my portable backdrop stand, however i have discovered that with that many people around it was not working out. I now ask that the host be able to provide an outdoor space such as your yard to use as a backdrop. The lighting proves to be better outside and it makes for more candid portraits! If you are not able to provide a outdoor space we can set up a play date at a park or beach and maybe have a picnic or BBQ! Ask me for some suggestions, i have some great locations in mind!
How do Portrait Parties work?
The Portrait Party is organized by the party Host. Hosts provide the location, coordinate the food, drinks, activities, the guest list and scheduling the 15 minute session times. Guests enjoy a free portrait session. Everyone will have a good time and the children will look forward to the next party! About one week after the party, the guests will visit an online gallery to view and order their portraits. After all guests have ordered the host will then be able to place an order based on credits from their guests purchases.Your guests will have one week to place their order so you wont have a delay on placing yours.Portrait parties are a no pressure party! No one will try to sell you anything! The session is free for you and your guests. The host will enjoy a free 11x14 wall portrait or 2 sheets of prints, as well as 10% credit from their guests purchases, if your guests total purchase totals $500, then you get a $50 credit!

I spent 5 years as a competitive gymnast, then, when it became obvious that i was going to be too tall to be a gymnast, I moved on. I tried figure skating and instantly loved it! I even got a chance to do a little traveling with my competitions and had the privilege of competing in a world competition at the Olympic training center in Colorado (and took home a gold medal) I met my future husband when i was a freshman in high school, yes, we were high school sweethearts, and we married 4 years later.
